Sports

Sticklands compete in a variety of sports competitions throughout the year.  We are part of a pyramid of small schools who compete against each other in football, netball, X-country, swimming, cricket and athletics.  We  also take part in the Beaminster Pyramid Dance Festival and Multiskills Festival.

We play quicksticks hockey, tri golf, ultimate frisbee, handball, rounders, tennis, basketball and many other sports.  Our parents association "Fossa" also fund our swimming pool making it possible for the children to learn to swim during the summer and autumn terms!

We are very lucky to have several talented members of staff (including Mrs Watson who is part of the England Hockey Masters Squad) and they provide a great variety of sport for all of the children to try throughout their time at Sticklands.
