School Uniform

Stickland's has a school uniform which all children should wear.  To encourage the children to take pride in themselves we ask that uniforms are kept clean and in good condition.

We regard our uniform as practical for everyday wear, good quality and value for money. If, however, you have financial difficulty in providing clothing please call in and discuss the matter with the Head teacher, any such discussions will always be strictly confidential.

Second hand uniform is usually available from the PTA (FOSSA), please enquire at the school office. Uniform can be ordered through the following website:-

We do keep a small supply in the school office but we cannot guarantee sizes (an administration charge will be added to uniform purchased from school) 

Daily Uniform

Grey shorts, trousers. skirt or pinafore.  Blue checked dress

Navy blue Stickland's sweatshirt or cardigan.

Royal Blue Stickland's polo shirt.

Plain grey/navy/black socks with trousers

Plain white/grey socks with skirts.

Navy/grey tights

School fleeces should not be worn in class and should only ever be worn in addition to school jumpers, not as a replacement.

Footwear

Children should wear sensible black shoes that provide good support, trainers are not suitable everyday footwear.  Please only send your child with laces if they are able to tie them themselves.

All children with hair longer than shoulder length should have it tied back. Hair must be a natural colour.  No jewellery is to be worn with the exception of one pair of small plain stud earrings and a watch.

PE Kit

P.E. clothing should be worn to school on the days the children have PE (see calendar):- 

Plain white t-shirt or polo shirt

Black / Navy blue shorts

Key Stage One - trainers preferable, or black plimsolls that the children can fasten themselves.

Key Stage 2 children must have suitable trainers, daps are not acceptable.

Plain navy/grey tracksuit bottoms to wear outside in winter

PE Hoodies are also available from Kitz uk.

In Key Stage 2 children will need gum shields, long socks and shin pads for certain sports.  We will give you advanced noticed for when they are required.

Swimming Kit

Trunks or costume

Swimming Hat

Goggles 

Towel

Shoes to wear whilst walking round the pool such as jelly / beach shoes / crocs (optional)

If children come to school wearing incorrect uniform/without PE kit they will be given spare kit, we cannot however offer spare swimming kit for hygiene reasons, and therefore if they do not have their kit they will not be able to take part in swimming.

We encourage all children to take responsibility for their own belongings however, lost property is kept in the front school entrance.
