Dear Parents / Carers,

I hope that you and all of your family are keeping safe and well at home.  On the following pages, please find some ideas and suggestions for you to use during the time that your children are at home.

Developing a timetable may be a useful place to start.  Please do not set expectations of a ‘normal’ school day for your child.  2 hours of work with an academic focus is plenty – splitting it into half hour sessions may be more manageable.

We have sent home, and are adding to the website, plenty of suggestions and activities.  Please do not feel that you have to work through them all.  Do what you and your child can manage, whilst keeping an enjoyment of what you are doing.

Ideally keep practicing those key activities that will benefit your child in the long term – reading every day, practicing times tables, some free writing activities – have they considered keeping a diary?

For as long as we are open, and then even if the school building itself has to close, provided we are well, staff are contactable via e-mail.
